Plac Bohaterów Getta
Heroes of the Ghetto Square, which contains the imposing Monument to the Ghetto Heroes, may eventually become home to the Museum of the History of Polish Jews. Plans for the museum were announced in spring 1995 but little has happened since.

In the meantime, apart from the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes, the square contains nothing apart from this stall, which sells material ranging from souvenirs and postcards to highly informative books. Given the totally changed appearance of the ghetto area, even down to its street plan, the photographs displayed on the panel are genuinely useful to the visitor.
